Would the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance please say if and when he will intercede in the sanitation crisis which is crippling Belize City under his watch? Can the honourable gentlemen say whether he will intercede on behalf of the poor workers of BML who have lost their livelihoods and means of survival because the UDP City Council will not pay its bills? Can the leader of the nation please say if he even understands the desperate plight of these workers, who have had their utilities cut out, cannot put food on the table and cannot send their children to school?
Would the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance please say if in hindsight he regrets paying his ex-wife millions of taxpayer dollars in just one year to be GOB’s attorney? Would the Prime Minister be willing to say exactly how much money has now been paid to Lois Young, and further say if he believes that money could have been put to better use alleviating the suffering of poor Belizeans?
Would the Minister of Works be able to say why he is cleaning drains on the north-side of Belize City as part of the south-side rejuvenation project? Would the Minister further be willing to provide a breakdown of the monies being paid to the CYDP for the so-called Southside Rejuvenation Project out of government coffers every week?
Would the Minister of Works be willing to say just how many houses he has built for himself and for family members since February of 2008? Would the Minister further be able to say how many homes he has built for poor residents of Port Loyola, and also to provide the financial details of the Port Loyola Housing for the Poor Project?
Would the Minister of Health please say what plans his Ministry has in place for addressing the outbreak of hepatitis A, dengue, swine flu and other strains of flu which have been affecting Belizeans all over the country?
Would the Minister of National Security please tell Belizeans if he has instructed his Police Department to provide false statistics on violent crimes in an attempt to cover-up the dire situation in Belize? Would the Minister further be able to state what plans or policies he has formulated and initiated since he took office, since the Department seems to be operating with absolutely no direction or guidelines?
