My condolences goes out to the family of this hard working Belizean who decided to help with the economy of Belize by employing Belizeans who in turn help the economy through their earnings by shopping and consuming goods. It is truly unfortunate that crime has become a part of the norm in the city Belize. As I traveled throughout the country of Belize, I see a high level of poverty that ultimately lead to crime according to many studies from around the world. When I grew up in Belize, we were our brothers keeper and I think this has been lost within the Belizean society. I urge Belizeans to take back Belize and rightfully so, no criminal/s is stronger than the voice of the people of Belize. Let us start putting people first in all that we do and we will win every time.

Past and present administrator should come together as one for the sake of our youths. Leave politics aside and just think about it during elections. Crime is not a red or blue thing, it is about our youths getting out of control.

my condolences to the coombs family from sergio gomez and family . iwent to school with jason in the mid 80;sand i am so sadden by the news. the so called government needs to wake up and start doing some work against crime and these lazy and coward criminals.get these guns off the streets before its to late again .

Apparently, since the UDP took over the reins of government certain conditions have been consistently deteriorating, crime has been out of control and it appears as if our so-called tranquil heaven of democracy has been transformed into a hellish nightmare, murder capital of the world.. On the other hand this is a direct result of what you get when power hungry politcal leaders call for civil unrest in order to gain power and control. The chicken has come home to roost.
