Everyone is loosing sight as to the wonderful young man that was shot. Politics be damned! A mother has lost a son, a family their brother. My prayers and thoughts go out to them.

@ Belize you are absolutely right, there are death squads all over the world and who don’t believe that they living in a fairytale. The Problem with a death squad is the people(cops, agents) that’s doing the “hits” becomes uncontrollable by the government and if that police officer or cop dislikes a citizen for any reason and decides to kill someone on there own without being given the order to do so, they start shooting people who they just don’t like and I personally believe that’s what happened in the case of the cop that murdered Teddy Murillo Jr.
@ Richard, don’t be too hard on Carton some people are just totally unaware, maybe he can get some insight or a reality check from us guys.

Carton, you raelly have to be out of your ind, what exists in Belize right now is a crisis, it is not fairy tales sir, and government seems cluless as to what they really need to do, so everyone have to be concerned, because the big questions is how much worse can it become, and what will government do to arrest it from getting our of control, right now they seem not know where to begin, and that in of itself is pretty damn scary. Its a shame that the world has more guns and lethal weapons than food and jobs .Belize is just one small country that is effected by all the other governments of this world. Police men in Belize are not properly trained, nor by far have the correct tools to conquer the thugs that is clearly equipped with better arsenal than them.

Carlton, are you kidding? There is complete chaos and lawlessness in the streets of Belize; look at the mayhem that happened just over the weekend a spate of shooting; 5 people including an 8 year old got shot up right in an alley and countless more senselessness; complete societal breakdown is taking place; people are frustrated; the police lost complete credibility no one have respect for them not even the law abiding citizens. I truly hoped that UDP would have done better, but they seem inexperienced; not only does the proverbial head don’t know what the body is doing, but it seems that not any other part of the body seems to know what any other part of the body is doing. The PM, come on guy; is just clueless or simply do not care; Barrow is too busy dealing with ‘politics’ and not reality…but this isn’t politics anymore this is choas and real people; real families et al are getting destroyed. We did not see this madness under PUP, whether you want to admit that or not, that is a fact. And we have an (un)official Police Death Squad no mek no ghost fool you; Police Death Squads have existed in neighboring countries and all over the world for quite some time; Honduras, for example, formed theirs when the MS-13 gang got out of control; the cops in Belize are now judge, jury and executionor.
