San Pedro FC & Brown Bombers win in BDFA U-19 football

The San Pedro U-19 FC and the Brown Bombers U-19 posted big wins in the Belize District Football Association’s under-19 football competition at the MCC garden on Sunday afternoon. The San Pedro FC burned the B.W.E.L. Flames 7-3 in Game 1. Jesse Guerrero scored a hat trick for San Pedro to lead 3-0. B.W.E.L. Flames’ David Ramos, Denroy McCord and Gilbert Neal also scored  3 goals but San Pedro’s Edilberto Caliz scored the 4th winning goal, Geovannie Reyes added the 5th and 6th goals, and Akeem Eiley bombed home a 7th goal for the 7-3 win.
The Brown Bombers U-19 blasted the Yabra U-19 6-0 in Game 2. Bombers’ John King converted a penalty early in the first half to lead 1-0 at the half time break. In the 2nd half, Clinton “Pin” Jorgenson added a 2nd goal, Ceton Martinez scored the 3rd goal and Avian “Chi-chis” Crawford delivered a 4th goal. Kendice “Suba” Williams outran the Yabra defense to score the 5th and 6th goals for the 6-0 win.
