E.P. Yorke & Sadie Vernon boys lead CSSSA basketball

Belize City, November 18, 2011

The Edward P. Yorke High School, Sadie Vernon Technical High School and Wesley College boys each posted 2 wins in the Central Secondary Schools Sports Association basketball competition at the Belize City Center last week.

Terrique Gabb sank three 3-pinters for a game high of 26 points as he led the E.P. Yorke High School boys to a 64-54 victory over Anglican Cathedral College on Friday night. Daniel Sanchez added 8points as E.P. Yorke led 22-10 in the first quarter.

E.P. Yorke led 33-24 at intermission, and ended the game with a 64-54 win.

Defending national champs, the Sadie Vernon Technical High School boys also enjoyed their 2nd win in a 105-63 blow-out of the Canaan Seventh day Adventist high School boys last Thursday.
